Our Kaolin clay is sourced from the UK, making this an ingredient with a low carbon footprint. Kaolin helps to cleanse and re-balance the skin by drawing out and absorbing impurities and excess sebum. The charcoal in this detox face mask is plant-based, made from coconut shells that have been burned and then exposed to super-heated steam, which gives the charcoal its sponge-like ability. Activated charcoal is beneficial at removing toxins and impurities from the skin, as it acts as a magnet for dirt and pollution. It gently exfoliates the top layer of skin, leaving a brighter complexion. It helps to absorb excess sebum, which makes it ideal in a treatment. Castor oil is very high in Omega 9 which makes it a very thick oil. It improves skin flexibility and suppleness and creates a protective barrier on the skin. Castor oil is a very moisturising oil that has notable use in the treatment of dry, cracked and itchy skin. As it is so thick, it does not absorb into the skin quickly, and it helps to cleanse the skin by loosening impurities.
Suggested Use
Use a gentle cleanser to thoroughly wash your face. Then, allow your face to fully air dry before proceeding. Updated FSA guidance states that no more than 70mg should be consumed daily.
Apply a generous layer to your face and neck avoiding the delicate eye area. Leave for 10-15 minutes (the mask does not dry out) and wipe away gently using a clean damp cloth. Rinse face with warm water and pat dry. For external use only.
Slowly peel the mask off your face, and discard your used CBD Charcoal Face Mask. Pat your face with your fingers to help the remaining active ingredients absorb into your skin. To ensure proper absorption, do not rinse your face.
Recommended Storage
Keep at room temperature to preserve freshness. Store away from humidity, heat, and direct sunlight. Do not store in the refrigerator and do not expose to temperatures below 0 °C. Keep away from children. Use within 6 months in open container.
