Poppy seed oil is rich in natural ceramides, making it a valuable ingredient in skincare and haircare. Poppy seed oil improves skin softness and locks in moisture, whilst ceramides improve firmness and elasticity. It has high levels of Omega-6 Fatty Acids which are able to penetrate deeper into the skin, even helping improve the skin penetration of other oils and actives. It is naturally rich in Vitamin E, which can help improve the feel and appearance of very dry, flakey and irritated skin. Jojoba is a rich oil, suitable for all skin types, that sinks into the skin quickly, leaving it soft and supple. It is actually a wax that is liquid at room temperature, almost identical in chemical structure to the skin’s natural oil (sebum). Alongside its high levels of eicosenoic acid, jojoba oil helps to balance the oil levels in the skin, even for those with oily or acne-prone skin. Because it is a wax, jojoba has an occlusive effect on the skin, meaning that it acts as a gentle, breathable barrier on the skin that prevents trans-epidermal water loss. This helps keep moisture in the skin and wards off damage from environmental factors. The glycerine we use is made without palm oil and instead is produced from non-GMO vegetable oils such as rapeseed, coconut and soy. It is a humectant which attracts and holds water, making glycerine an excellent moisturiser.
Suggested Use
Use a gentle cleanser to thoroughly wash your face. Then, allow your face to fully air dry before proceeding.
Our CBD Moisturising Cream is designed to be applied directly to face and body. Simply add a small amount of cream to your fingers and then rub it gently into the desired areas of the face and body, using gentle strokes until the cream is fully absorbed by the skin. For consistent protection against dehydrated skin we recommend applying first thing in the morning after washing, and just before your go to sleep. Avoid the eye area.
Please Note: As we recommend with all of our products, if you have no previous experience of CBD then start with a small amount and gradually build it up to the right amount that works for you. Everyone is different and people consume CBD in a variety of different ways and strengths for different reasons.
Recommended Storage
Keep at room temperature to preserve freshness. Store away from humidity, heat, and direct sunlight. Do not store in the refrigerator and do not expose to temperatures below 0 °C. Keep away from children. Use within 6 months in open container.
Delivery
Orders placed by 1pm Monday to Friday will be processed and dispatched the same day. Orders placed after this time will be processed the next working day.
For Saturday and Sunday orders, these will be processed on the following business day, excluding bank holidays or external disruptions (e.g., strikes, and weather delays).
